El Paso Jazz Girls offers a variety of opportunities to create and learn throughout the year. We also partner with other arts organizations so our participants can connect with females interested in jazz and composition from across the country!

Find Your Groove
Free, virtual event, open to all students interested in learning about music in college! Whether you major in music, play in the marching band, or just want to take lessons, there are many different options to continue making music after high school.
Save the date to meet other young musicians from across the country and some of the top professional female artists in the music industry today. 5-6:45pm MST

We are thrilled to be joining fellow leading femme focused organizations to discuss our programming and how that work addresses the goal of leveling the playing field for non-male musicians at the National Jazz Education Network Conference. Learn more here.

El Paso Museum of History is opening a new exhibit on the El Paso Music Scene and will feature some original work from El Paso Jazz Girls' participants over the years.

As part of the Plaza Classic Film Festival, we will be attending the screening and reception for Encanto with Oscar nominated film composer and El Paso native, Germaine Franco. After meeting her virtually at our 5th Annual Summer Program, participants will be able to meet with her in person, ask questions, and see her work live.
International Jazz Day with Chantal Camus
Chantal will be going live on our YouTube page at 5pm MST talking about her composition process and how she uses jazz elements to create an original sound.

Interested in collaboratively developing a curriculum for high school jazz programs? Can you commit to attending six 2 hour virtual meetings, preparing reading/music/assignments for each meeting, and provide honest and critical input? Complete this form by July 5 if interested!
